Today, everywhere in the world, day and night are equal lengths of time. This only happens twice a year - this perfect day of balance. The card Temperance is about achieving that perfect balance. In order to create we need to find harmony between an idea and the activity to make it happen. This card shows a woman creating by combining opposing elements, as she pours liquid onto flame, steam arises and an angel appears. It is in that liminal space between opposites, magic happens. Today we are poised between the seasons. This is a time to put action to dreams and make them real. Temperance is also a card of spiritual balance. In my tarot card Temperance the angel can also be seen as watching over the woman creating. The painting in the background of the video is a recently finished oil diptych.
