It is my lover Tony's birthday and I pull a card for him - it is The Chariot- his birth card. As synchronicity is one of my guides I know this is the next card to paint. This is a card of movement and victory. There is energy and drive to achieve goals but balance is needed. Every element in this painting is a symbol. The arrow points the way as the charioteer sets his sight on the goal. His victory wreath tells us he will succeed, he has harnessed the power of alchemy. The Chariot is held up by a the heavenly canopy. As the Wheel of Fortune spins the Sphinx and her shadow lead the way through the mystical realms to a golden future.
