The mother is the embodiment of creation, Hecate is the wise crone. The wands are Brigid candles. I have a Brigid candle charged in succession from a candle lit at her sacred fire in Kildaire, Ireland. I light this candle when I paint as a way to honour and acknowledge the divine gift of inspiration.
